The Keto diet is a low carbohydrate diet consisting of about 25 carbs per day. Keto foods are high in fat, moderate in protein, and low in carbohydrates. High-fat foods will sustain your hunger and keep you full for longer periods of the day. Omit sugar, breads, rice, and beans. Stick with a diet of primarily meats, green veggies and healthy fats to achieve ketosis. Once in ketosis, your body will get energy from the fat on your body, and not from continually eating. You'll burn off excess weight. Keto is a very low-inflammatory diet, which will keep you limber and pain-free.
